Corporations 👔 collect and analyse our data constantly, when we use their cloud-based apps. Most of the time there is no alternative with the same user experience, so it becomes hard to opt out of most services. But there is a movement for self hosting services, which comes closer to the user experience offered by corporations. 💪
A relatively new personal server OS can be hosted on a small mini computer, which runs 24/7 🕑 in your home network. The OS features a nice UI, an app store and is quite easy to setup. Currently it offers great support for Bitcoin related apps, but there is also a growing amount of other cool apps available. The developer group has reached 45k+ followers on Twitter and seems really motivated to push this OS even further.
